Great paintwork! You really brought out every little detail. He looks a bit older than even in ROTS, like maybe this is ten years later, after spending a decade or so on Tatooine!

One thing though, what's with the turtleneck??

Very nice work as always! But yeah, I agree with Mikey.....what's the deal with the turtleneck?

Re: 12" Obi-Wan IMAGE Thread

Hi guys,

I decided to post a few pics for once because I'm so happy with how Sith Anakin and Obi-Wan turned out. For 12 inch figures they are incredibly classy and display well with our wine and antique mugs.

My wife and I both had birthdays this week so that explains all the cards in the first shot. :)

I think that is actually the first Vader Vs Obi-Wan shots I've seen so far. They do look great together!

He's going for that distinguished look. ;)

Re: 12" Obi-Wan IMAGE Thread

I just got Obi-Wan last night, and I think I'm probably going to repaint the hair. But wow, I love this figure.

Great shot, although it looks like Anakin can't wait to turn that saber on and run Obi-Wan through. :lol

And Curt, my obi-wan's joints aren't that loose. They tend to not stay where I want them to all the time but they do okay.

Re: 12" Obi-Wan IMAGE Thread

My Obi-Wans joints were fine. Nice and tight.

I love this guy!!!!!!

With these first 4 I was going for a sequence...don't know if I pulled it off tho...

This next one is probably my favorite pose I was able to get them in. I'd display them like this if I wasn't afraid displaying without the stands. I don't think it would look as good with em.

This was the hardest one to get right. Because of their facial expressions and the sculpts of their hands they looks like they're just thinking about holding hands as opposed to being locked in deadly battle. (Insert brokeback Jedi jokes here)

Re: 12" Obi-Wan IMAGE Thread

My figure seems to have his head on backwards in relation to the articulated neck, since I cannot lean his head forward very well, but when I rotate the head backward, he can do it.

Is there any easy way to pop the head off the neck then reattach?

Thanks

Re: 12" Obi-Wan IMAGE Thread

More great pix Anti-Hero!!! Love the last one. This just goes to show that with the right amount of effort you can get some pretty cool poses out of Sideshow bodies.

That's how Obi-Wan SHOULD have looked out of the box.

I think he looks like he hasn't taken a bath in weeks.
