But where does it end? the new Joker thats coming and this DX, I'll guarantee it they'll have something to moan about on it. Again and again and again. When the next figures arrive in a few years time, same cycle again. It's like they've forgotten how to enjoy things but blinded by obsessiveness.

I use to be very obsessive. I had to step back to see it. I was shocked how bad it was.

It doesn't ever end, and that's kind of the point. As long as the technology and skill to make figures can possibly be improved, there will be those that demand it does.

It's like advancements in medical science (not remotely suggesting this is the same level of importance, but the concept is the same). We, as humans, will probably never have completely perfect knowledge of our own bodies and the diseases that can harm it, but we will also hopefully never stop trying to improve the knowledge we do have.

Similarly, there will probably never be a figure that is so perfectly accurate that it is indistinguishable from the actor it represents (besides of course, the scale), but hopefully Hot Toys and other manufacturers never stop improving.

Actually reaching perfection is impossible, no doubt, but we can get closer to it...and closer...and closer....

I really can't wait to get this suited version of Batman. I missed the DX02 and have come so close to buying it several times. I don't guess there is any chance of getting the sonar sculpt this time around? With all the goodness packaged with DX11, I am ready to see what HTs has in store for this. The suit vault is at the top of my want list to be included.
