Yep, I have Dutch and Billy, because I think they've held up pretty well, but that original Predator is not so good. I wish they would do a real 2.0 of it.

Yeah the original predator released by hot toys now looks so bobbleheaded and has an out of proportion body. Its one of their figures that hasn't aged well at all. Hopefully they'll do a remake and can you imagine if they did the whole predator crew including dillion, mac, hawkins and blaine.

NECA would be a better bet for that and even with them there's virtually no chance.

Excellent plan. I have an extra Kane figure that I always planned on using for a custom Lambert. You may just have found the solution to finding a decent head sculpt. Now there's no need to chuck the old Ripley figure into the trash. I just hope we get the 2.0 Ripley made available as a single figure, as well.

Nameplate is lying!
...still some tweeting to be done on face and nameplate. The 'mission' was to make a Lambert as HT would have done if she came out with the other two - not really a more movie accurate one. But I might still change the shoes and hands.

Really nice work and a great observation on the headsculpt. Can certainly see some Veronica Cartwright across the eyes and nose in particular.

What paints did you use to repaint the suit in blues?

Thaks all! Appreciate it! I use Golden acrylics as that is what I use in my regular work. Best acrylics you can get. I have varnished it so it won't rub off, but it will crack if bend enough though. So as you would expect it's delicate, but it's kind of a fragile figure anyways. The suit can't really be posed much in the first place, so it will keep looking good if I'm careful with it.

thats true but neca's quality on most their figures is bad except for maybe the 1/4 scale predators..
