The figure is missing a lot it seems. This ^^^, the two wrap over repulsors, the two "swords". There was also a random tv spot with him shooting missles out of his shoulders while flying from an extended section that came out. they need to get to work on the extra stuff :lol

Yep! I really hope they include more accessories when they release the figure. Or they may end up selling them separately like Tony's workshop items here: https://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/marvel-iron-man-workshop-accessories-hot-toys-902240/

Kevin Feige has said he doesn't really see anyone else taking over these roles. I'd be surprised if they went the same route, unless they reboot the whole MCU 15-20 years down the line. I just don't think it's really in the cards right now.

Agreed. Especially with X-Men and the F4 coming in, I don't think they will be touched for a good decade.

WTF? Those arms? Astronaut suit. :rotfl

It's not a fake or bootleg photo by the way.

Yep. Based on what the Russo’s said and what he does in the comics that’s what I’ve been saying exactly. It’s why I don’t think it’s plausible to expect most of the weapons we have seen in trailers and what not. He may use 600 different things and they last all of a split second each.

I don' t really like this 'magic armor' at all. Part of the appeal of Iron Man is seeing how all the mechanical parts move and function, seeing how everything fits together. And then getting the physical figure and seeing it actually work. ( even when they have things plug in, you understand like 'oh the shoulder panels open and the missile pod is housed inside' ) Its like being a car enthusiast, you appreciate the thought process that went into the design. Some one figured out how to make it work

But now theres nothing to think about anymore, like 'Where did he get that biga$$ sword!?' Magic armor. 'Where did those wings come from?' Magic Armor. '...but all those arm cannons!' Magic. Armor.

So now when you plug on a weapon-you really are just plugging it on, its not part of the suit. Its an attachment. To use terminology from another hobby, its a 'Parts-Former'

If this is really how the armor will function in the film then I have to agree. The other downside to this is that I can't imagine being able to go back. From a functional, versatile, and effective perspective, why would his armor designs go back to what they were before? Unless this suit has some rare one of a kind processing unit/engine then he would never go back. And that thought sucks.

I definitely understand your point of view. But nano technology is the future. And we have seen Iron Man do the same thing every movie, perhaps this might be something interesting. I will always hold out til I see the movie. There have been way too many crazy movie figures that have nothing to do with the movie.

Man...Iron Man is going all-out Gundam...

While it does look pretty extensive and ridiculous...given how many Iron Man suits we've seen and the "evolution" of the armors, this does seem like a natural "progression" of his weaponry...especially since he needs to be a heavy-hitter against Thanos and his forces.

Kinda also looks like his deployed solar panels or something...

Yeah, agreed, I’ve been saying that the next “accessories pack” should be for the Mk. L since the figure announcement! My biggest fear is 2 versions with different weaponry. HT has done both with IM figures in the past so I’m hoping for the accessories pack.

Although if they do make 2 versions, it won’t be the end of the world for me, I’ll buy both but I think the majority of collectors would be very angry, especially if they don’t release that “Halo Energy Sword” looking thing.

The basic armor design is cool to me. That statue is a mess design-wise though.

I'd be quite happy if there was a more budget option with less stuff so you can display him organic suit like without spending money on extras that will stay boxed...
