Like almost every variant, some love and some hate. Provided SS gets this, so will I. I love the unique armors. We have 20 red and gold.

The more I see of this, the less I like it... So I suppose the wait to see if SSC will get it is actually a good thing.
The same thing happened to me last year. I wanted retro bones at first, but by the time sideshow got it I no longer had any interest in it.

For what its worth, I just spoke with a SS CSR and they said that Hot Toys hasn't told them that they will be distributing it yet and they wont be selling it at SDCC. Pretty much what they told me last week too. So this looks like a hurry up and wait situation.

I most definitely want this figure but its 100% retail price cool, not Ebay price cool haha.

SDCC is too close for this to be available as a pickup only. SS is already billing me in full for Sith Anakin. I have two order too. Eek.

crazy prices. ebay today one sold for £667 or best offer around $800. word from one uk supplier is "unlikely to be available thru me" i fear this maybe another grail piece.

So SS said they won't be selling it at SDCC.. if that is the case, I'd proceed with caution with the seller on ebay from California that has 7 (Sold 5) for presale saying that they'll be picked up at the convention

Still some time left so we'll see.

Another day has almost passed, and this still isn't up for preorder at SSC. The new Captain America, and Tchaka are up for preorder on SSC.

That's because Neon Iron man is a con exclusive and Concept Cap/T'Chaka are not... Give it time.

The con that it's exclusive to (CCG EXPO 2018) is going on right now and ends on the 9th, so It could be anytime after that if SSC does get it. (I'm fairly sure they will)

This won't be at SDCC.

I'm going to feel awful if they do end up having this at SDCC for sale... It's just not an SDCC exclusive, but I still doubt it will be there. I'm pretty sure hot toys would announce it if it was going to be.

I see all these random designs they're coming up with for repaints, and all I can think of are the full holographic iron man prototypes that showed up awhile ago that never made it to mass release. I've always had a big fascination with toys with translucent parts. These showed up before I got as deep into this hobby as I am now, so I really don't know the story behind them, but I can say it was one of the things that drew me closer... I'm still kinda bummed that nothing ever came of them because i'd love to own both.
