looks good, but I'm not convinced that it wouldn't have looked this good without diecast.

What does it matter when it looks as good as it does. It's 10x the value of something like Midas for the same price, IMO. Personally, I like that they made the joints metal. Engineering on this figure is incredible.

Damn this looks great.

Most diecast figures don't have diecast in the head. Throws off the balance.

Can't wait to get this puppy! Couldn't tell from that video if the joints are clicky ratchets or not. Would be icing on the cake if they were.

I doubt they would have done the pull out joints in the first place without diecast. It wouldn't be stable enough and would snap.

This is often the case with robot toys.

It also appears like in Kidultttoyshop the legs are indeed ratchet lock at the hips. Fantastic! less chance for facebombs!

I like how the hands are sculpted with the plate on them instead of being a separate piece all together. I am impressed so far this will be my first Iron Man Figure.

All these photos have turned me, but with Nathan Drake just shipping and Mark 42 looking like it will be on time I can't just drop another $300. As a compromise I jumped on the wait list for the exclusive, if I get him that way cool, if not I'll have to track him down later in the year. I'll leave it up to the machinations of Sideshow, damn these great photos!

Wow everything about the packaging is stunning! From the outside cover to the inside styrofoam box. Beautiful! Now i cant wait to see what the packaging for Iron Patriot will look like
