Indeed, it is sad to see someone destroys something for another can be very valuable.

this world is mad crazy.............."

Sums up all of their videos minus the actual review portions

K... I've never watched any of their vids, glad this will be the first and last.

it was brand new out of the box :lol

Then this was definitely :cuckoo:

unless SS has requested pictures of the destroyed piece... then it's an instant classic!

Even then, as a collector, I wouldn't ever enjoy doing / seeing such a thing.

And now, since it was BN, it is even more sad. There could be many of us who want to get him, but cannot because of constraints. Watching someone smashing such an expensive and well made figure in that manner certainly is in bad taste, at least to me.

Anyways, after seeing at this video, I saw this in the Sauron thread. :monkey3

This was even sadder...

I'm gonna have to destroy my War Machine torso when i get my replacement... And the only thing wrong with it is a stripped screw. :(

Sideshow has people destroy the figure as opposed to just shipping it back?

Edit: I guess I shouldn't assume everyone purchases from Sideshow. A better question would be, "Some retailers have you destroy the figure instead of just shipping it back?"

Sideshow does. Most places don't. They only have you return something if it's for a refund I think.

Sideshow does. If you don't destroy the faulty one as they request after receiving a replacement you'll get charged half the retail price or more.

Mine showed up today! This thing is incredible! I cannot believe how heavy this thing is! It feels very weird picking this up after Ironman. It's exactly like how others have said that now my Mark vii feels like a cheap plastic toy! Very impressed with the whole thing!
