Whoa! His right shoulder is dislocated! :horror

I know its apples to oranges, but: Wondering, with all those Maquettes / Marks SS teased, is anybody thinking of getting into the 1/4 scale. With a difference of $100-120 in pricing (die-cast's base price excluding shipping), the 1/4 scale 'seems' a better option. Thoughts...

yikes who posed him?

Six one way half a dozen the other really.

A 1/4 scale collection eats up space incredibly fast compared to 1/6, and display cabinets for 1/4 scale media like Besta, Pax, etc cost significantly more than your standard Detolf at $64.99.

:lol

I spent more time then I should have trying to figure that out... Coffee break time

I'm curious, how many 1/6 can you stuff into a Detolf? BESTAs are $85 for the 3x1, more spacious, and you can put a lot of figures in them.

You can cram a ton in there, upwards of 50 I think. There's some collection threads posted where people have figures crammed in there like crazy, almost pouring out :lol

Yeah, but then the collection looks like crap

:lol Yeah, it's a matter of preference for sure.

Five 1/6 scale figs can sit on a Detolf shelf comfy, so 20 for the entire Detolf.

Besta's can fit two 1/4 scale pieces comfortably each max. Pax maybe up to four 1/4 scale each? Not sure I never owned a Pax. :huh

:exactly: BESTA can display, at least to me, 6 figures really well with a lot of space between them. You can probably get 8 in there too without it getting too crowded, but anymore and they start to get lost.

How dare you lol.

I personally like the detolfs and besta. I just find when people shove 10 figures onto a shelf, all the details are lost.

Personally, I would say 2-3 figures max for my liking.
:exactly: Agree, 1 or 2 per shelf is my preference and 3 is my max so anywhere from 4 to 12 figures per Detolf for me.

I HATE crowded shelves it really doesn't look good to me. I also prefer a better look at the figures .. not just visual from the front of the display.

Seeing massive collections all crammed together its literally impossible to tell one from the next, it just becomes a see of colors and plastic (or diecast). I agree with most here that a few figures to a space looks best.

I could put more figures in my display but i also think less is more. So i have figures not on display and i just rotate them out occasionally.

Brutal...

Who puts these things out and poses them? :lol

Wow, the crotch-leg area is bad. This is a three hundred dollar piece, that's not up to snuff at all. The figuarts looks better in that area, WTH?

I want this to rule but...
