Ok heres another shot more or less the same but i decided to use this guy as my test, been wanting to add a black background to my detolf for a while as the warm dioders mixed with my cream walls was always overpowering so tested black background on one cube to see how it looked and photographed.

I think it looks pretty good

oh and i suppose the MK 42 is alright aswell lol

Its just a black piece of cardboard there(behind the glass), im torn between using a thin foam board or black fabric to do the full detolf

Their is a huge gaping hole in that logic, but whatever people want to bieber that's just fine.

Please explain the single white bush then.. obviously I must be wrong, because there is supposed to be a gaping hole there without a second bush, according to Lipsmack.. and according to you, HT's joints are "incredibly well engineered jigsaw pieces".

.. yet there it is, an incredibly well engineered jigsaw piece with only one white bush.. coincidence?.. a rapid QC fix?.. or a cunning foreign conspiracy to lure in Western collectors. with promises of a 'new batch' to off-load HT's remaining inventory?


..personally, I'm going with the fix (either by an enterprising owner or by HT).. other collectors may prefer a tin foil hat and a box of rotting vegetables, to throw at HT.

Black fabric sounds good, have you given any thought to Adhesive vinyl?

i actually haven't but will look into it, going ahead with it as it really makes the figures stand out and adds that something extra to the display
