I didn't like this one at first (color scheme). But it has become my top 3 IM figs. It really grew on me.

Same here, I think it was the gold colouring & too much of it that I wasn't keen on..., I thought it weird that I didn't really like the colour scheme as I always seem to prefer the suits that aren't the usual red/gold combination..., having watched the film a few times now I can honestly say the prodigal son has grown on me.

well i dont know but it dont look real his legs and also you can not make it damage on the legs only top.

I keep thinking maybe I should have gotten this figure, but then I remember that the 43 is basically a better version of this so I'll get that instead, but that doesnt mean I won't go back and get this sometime

I've had this a couple of months and wasn't really feeling it, now after a play with it and getting the joints loosened, it's the best IronMan figure, the engineering is incredible!

I think there are plenty of the mark 42 around & even if the diecast sells out & gets pricy, there's always the power pose version & that's pretty cheap.

I drew black panel lines on the Power pose mk42 and it has a much better look.
I like the power pose but the Diecast MK42 is a much better figure.

One of the best looking IM.

Looks awesome! My only problem with the suit is the gold-dominated colorway. Avengers will fix this

I'm really happy with my diecast mark 42, I think getting the power pose figure now would make it a bit of a let down in comparison (maybe)..., it looks rather nice displayed with the diecast version though, I like how you've posed it.
