So anybody else as excited about this teaser as I am? I'm content to pass on the Mark XLII in favor of waiting on XLIII but not if the former is battled damaged with a car battery.

Thats not a new figure, it just an old teaser for the accessories pack

I'm confused...is the only thing different the car battery?...because that looks exactly like my DC 42 when I add the BD parts

it is.... :lol

Oh so they'll be selling a battery now...wonder how much... Under or over 100$

I might pick up the workshop and apply rp so it's like $50 shipped for the entire set. Then again I much rather put my rp to better use or another figure.

I have about 3,000 pending RP...saving that for either HB, the Delorean or Rhino

So how are the arm socket/ball holding up for you american buyers? I stopped tuning in after the first wave hong kong releases had their arms breaking. And reportedly what hot toys did to fix it was only remove a rubber washer from the ball joint to reduce friction. That was an unsatisfactory fix in my eyes because it meant the material for the arm ball joint was still just as fragile.

But so far I haven't seen any american buyers complain of broken joints? I like the way this figure looks, but I don't want it to break.

Joints are good, I do many poses but I'm just extra careful with the arms. It's been great.

I am genuinely happy for you that this figure met your expectations. I dunno, maybe I am still a little bitter for what happened to those first wave adopters, I think subconciously I wanted someone to say the armpit joints were completely reworked and are metal or something. I do like the look alot, but I don't like having that worry on the back of my mind.

The total amount of damaged joints reported accounted for all of 2.8% of sales. And those where mostly replaced.

The main reason for the damage was the joint being to stiff or hard and being forced when it was stuck. Thus causing it to break. Removing the washer loosened the joint and pretty much fixed the problem. It is no more likely to break then any other iron man armor.
