The shoulders, like the rest of the figure, are highly articulated. If you don't like the visible joints, you can push the arms inward so they're flush to the body. XLIII will likely be a similar, if not the same exact, design.

but you say that if you dont like it just push the arms inside and you dont see it anymore?

It's a gimmick that allows the arms to extend more, like bringing the arm across the chest. You pull it out to allow more movement.

In neutral poses, it should be pushed in

I mean, you can still see a slight gap in the shoulders here. It's up to you if that's bothersome or not. We're assuming that the XLIII has the same design and articulation. You can always push the arms up and in, to eliminate much of the gap.

Hey fellow collectors. I notice my mark 42 crotch is folded downwards (see attachment). It looks like this area is adjustable. Can anyone help me with this?

No attachment to be seen...

however there is hope, there is an area on mk 42 ass that can be pressed in (see instructions) this will fix you issue
 
I need fix/repaint on chest and waist area.
Anyone know about gold and red colors on MK42?

i like the damage version also and yes the MK 43 will be the same i know
