any experience with the paint? do they look good in hand? i am thinking about getting the clean RDJ Head. i dont like the bloody face that comes with the suit.

thanks

Theres some vids of the pepper one that came out a while back, paint was decent but not HTs standard, km hoping with these ones they refined it a bit more, cant say for sure though

my mistake, must have been something else

There were two threads about the Pepper sculpt that got deleted. Don't know why, I had them bookmarked and one day they were just gone. One of them was a Budget Stark review.

i can not cancel me figure so i also gonna get this on but he is ok :)

I wanted to cancel because maybe I was going to take the MK 43 but this one has something more options

I think I'm becoming a completist as I seem to want every new suit announced, the mark 42 is great & I'm really happy with mine..., I'm also looking forward to adding the mark 43 to my collection as I know it'll obviously be just as good. :)

I know most people seem to like either the Mk 42 or the Mk 43 better than the other....but I think both of them side by side is going to look pretty amazing.

That's how I want to display them..., along with War Machine 2.0 & Iron Patriot & maybe a Tony Stark figure in the middle just to break them up a bit & have as a centrepiece. :)

Finally unboxed my new Mk 42 tonight, and the left shoulder is loose. I thought I read there was an easy fix for this, I have the arm off and I thought there was a screw to tighten somewhere? There is one that goes into the shoulder peg, but I can't tighten that one any more. Is there another one?

Do you mean the arm is loose when you try to raise it up & away from his body? I can't remember where I saw it, but I think you're referring to the screw that's under the round, silver detail piece in front of the inner shoulder. You pop that off (it's held by glue), there's screw under there that you tighten. Glue the sliver piece back on.

Aha, found the post, I knew I'd seen this in here. This did the trick!

I just got my mark 42 yesterday. Absolutely beautiful figure but mine has one major flaw - FLOPPY ARM (Left)- it just cannot stay up !!

For those interested to 'fix' this floppy arms, you can try my way. First you will need the following :-

1) Precision screw driver - a must if you don't want to 'screw up' those tiny hot toys screw !
2) Finger nail - other than pricking your nose....it work wonders on prying plastics/rubber !
3) Guts - lots of it !!

First remove the whole arm assembly from the socket. If you didn't already know it is just a ball joint....so just yank it out in a 'gentle' manner.
(Disclaimer : Don't come looking for me if you break your figure ! :)

What you want to do now is basically just to remove the rubber piece as shown on the pic by using your finger nail! This rubber piece is just glued on so it is quite easy to remove.

NOTE : The removal of shoulder armour is not necessary actually. I did it because at that time I didn't know how it works. But it does gives you a clearer view on what you are doing.

By now you will have noticed there is a screw sitting right in the middle of it. Just tighten the screw a little and your floppy arm is now miraculously cured !!

Put a tiny drop of glue on the original glue mark, secure the rubber piece on the original position and you are good to GO !

And now both arms stay up just perfectly !!

Hope this helps folks !!

Cheers !
