I use a spare mechanic head supported with blu tac. Sits and move around fine and easy to take off
 
rocbolt, how is your mechanic head connected to the body? Same way as Chiefrocka?

Yeah, exactly, just a simple blob of blu tak on the peg. It looks fine head on, if you wanted to do it up nice you'd probably want to add a bit of neck material as well- from the side or back there is a gap between the head and the armor neck.

Nah I think it looks fine like that, you can't see the gaps unless you know they are there and are looking for them. Looks great guys, may have to try it! Although mine is the workshop head, so mk42 will be all clean armour.

I agree, that looks pretty clean to me...great idea, I'm searching the bay for one right now.
 
I think this figure is pretty under rated. Got him in this weekend. Looks so sharp!
