Yeah. I grabbed an extra pair of BD shoulder plates and added a bit of red. I just liked how it framed the whole figure a little better.
Painted and extra BD chest piece as well, but I liked the original one better...at least without custom painting other parts red.
This was before I did the shoulder mod:

If I ever get the itch to do BD on my dollies, I'll be giving you a shout man. STELLAR work as always :rock

Ah no! That's how I want a repainted 42 chest piece to go with my 43. Nice repaint. But it does look good on your figures. Top stuff.

That part on the bottom of his groin that you push a button to drop down so he could bend the legs at the hip all the way, how do you get it to lock back? I'm changing up my pose and going for a running standing pose but the thing won't lock back and is sticking out at the bottom?

Thanks in advance!

I find that the easiest way is to move both legs forward, then while holding your thumb on the button, swing both legs toward the back at the same time. Take your thumb off the button.

Ahhh crap. I have recently got the urge to get this figure. I have the 43 and love it but the color scheme for the 42 just might suit the design better. I didn't understand why people would have both the 42 and the 43 in their collections ... but I get it now.

Should've pulled the trigger when Sideshow still had it. Dammit.

I certainly think so!

Yeah, that was my thought...I think the paint on the 42 is incredible and definitely fits the lines of this armor well. On that note, 43 is still next on my list. :lol

What dynamic pose should I put Tony in? :huh

Congrats as well. Wish I got him when he was released but I never really paid much attention to this guy up until a month ago.
It's not the classic IM but he's pretty sweet.

I'll admit I wasn't in love with this armor when I first saw it, too much gold. After seeing the movie and the pics of this figure, I've fallen in love. It's a unique armor and now I love the color and how much it stands out from the others.

Very cool Swtich! :clap

I just got this guy in today. Great looking figure. Still not sure what to do with the final pose though.

Anyone who has the MK42 and MK43, does the chest piece from the 43 fits on the 42? I am curious to see a picture how a red piece look on the 42. haha
