Yeah, exactly, just a simple blob of blu tak on the peg. It looks fine head on, if you wanted to do it up nice you'd probably want to add a bit of neck material as well- from the side or back there is a gap between the head and the armor neck.

Cool, no additional neck peg require right?

I noticed couple paint chips near the neck I think because the die cast shoulder pieces were loose in shipping. I might want to touch up the paint. What method or marker you guys suggest for the red and gold paint?

So due to unforeseen circumstances I decided I had to let my 42 go. Being in the UK right now and not a premium member here, eBay seemed like my best choice (yay...). Somebody just gave me a 'best offer' of £25 ($37). Seriously? I know eBay is ridiculous most of the time, but this is a new low in my experience. Did they really think I would accept that??

That's the norm, I got a $30 offer on a Transformer that I had listed for $90.00

Great pictures, dapro! :clap

My second favorite IM suit and figure thus far. I really like the design of both the XLII and XLIII, and the fact that they're both die cast.

Once you go die cast with iron man its hard to go back to plastic. I hope they make a die cast Iron Man Midas or Mark 7.

I had the same issue - just got him. The gold, detachable shoulder blades weren't clicked in, so annoyingly my guy has a small chip on his shoulder! It's concealable by moving the shoulder blade over it, so not visible, but irks me. Kinda put me off getting any more die-cast pieces. (or at least diecast IM pieces)

How do you attach the Mechanic BD Tony head to the 42? I notice the pegs are different sizes and was wondering what you did to adapt/allow both to connect to each other?
