is there a size comparison between igor and the other suites???

I was wondering the exact same thing. Might be the closest thing I could get to a hulkbuster suit in my collection...IF the size is big enough. If not, then I'm gonna pass. Judging from the other pictures the red snapper as he appears next to the other regular iron man's is not only wider but also much taller. If Igor can be even taller and wider than the red snapper then hopefully I can have someone to displayed to my hulk.

Are you planning on getting igor and repainting red is that why?

I'm sure the pictures marvel released are accurate, Igor is as tall as the other armors, its just bulkier.

I will always call it Hulkbuster, it would be great to pose it fighting Hulk

Yea I'd say Igor is around the same size height wise as most of the other armours.

You won't call it Hulkbuster if they actually do make a Hulkbuster :p

The IGOR or 'Heavy Lifting Suit' actually IS the Hulk-buster. It's not being called that in IM3 because it isn't used to fight Hulk.
I read this in an article featuring pictures and descriptions of all the various armors from IM3, and it makes sense.
The article read very much as if it were Marvel canon.

Speculation: The suit will probably appear again in Avengers II, when Hulk gets a bit unruly and Stark has to give him a slight ***-woopin.
Then we might see a Battle Damaged version of it, repainted red and gold, released with Avengers II.
Knowing Hot Toys, this would be an easy way for them to pump out two different paint versions of the same figure.
Hopefully the red and gold version will have switch-out BD parts.

when does SSC announce their exclusives? hoping the iron man figs get some type of extras like the holographic arm or the mark VI arm

I'll get the Avengers II version then.. :lol Igor will surely need tweaks if it's about to go head to head with the hulk.

Not much of a plot spoiler but i just thought I'll place a video here of how cool XLII is:

It's nice my LCS gave me until after I've seen the movie to reserve one at the discounted price. :D
Deadline was supposed to be last friday.

Yeah, after seeing that clip, this suit is a for sure purchase. If nothing else it will stand out like the MK V does on shelves.

:rock Thanks Edward!

Have been considering whether to get this or not and i've not really been impressed by it, seems like a step back for Hot Toys and the Die-cast is seemingly the cause, it just looks too much like a toy and not a collectible. Some things are pretty amazing like the HS and the BD parts are really, i just can't justify the price their asking for it when it doesn't look lifelike enough imo, not sure what it is but something seems off (other than the gaps).

None of the Mark suits ever looked "Life like" in the protos. They look better in person IMO. That can be said for a lot of figures. I think it's too early to judge the figure for what it looks like until we get actual inhand pictures of it from bloggers.

I dunno the VI & VII looked pretty great as proto's and i think the V was decent as well. I'm being overly critical i know.
