Nope. I think House Party Protocol was only the suits he made after the Mk7. I also think they mentioned in the film that AIM worked on his suit or something like that, even though I read in the prequel comic that Tony redesigned the War Machine armor, but I guess that means it's still one of the earlier prototypes that weren't made to self-detonate. Would've been kind of funny though. :lol

Tony built the War Machine mk. II (As well as the 'Hot Rod' prototype armor), but AIM was responsible for the Iron Patriot red/white/blue re-brand.

Reading this interesting info makes me want to purchase or rent BluRay Disc of this movie

It's well worth owning.
Hands down the coolest thing i have ever seen to do with a movie scene is the documentary on how they did the MK42 saving the falling AF1 passengers.
It'll make your jaw drop when you see the lengths they went to.
It's "Christopher Nolan-esque" levels of realism.

Have you watched the Blu Ray with the documentaries?
Tony stands about 6 inches higher than normal when wearing the MK42.
The scene where Maya comes to the house and he is wearing the suit, all he was wearing were tracking markers. When she walks along beside him, RDJ was walking along a 6" high piece of flooring. He stops, and steps down(The part where the armour opens up to let him out).
As all the armours i have stand a scale 6" higher than the Tony figure, HT seem to have gotten it right.
You don't know what height those people are in the image.
Or if the MK42 was on a base of some kind.

Wow. Touchy.

:peace

That's not how it was meant to be read. Otherwise i would have put exclamation marks at the end of the sentences.
Read it as if i was just stating the points i made in a calm fashion.

It really is a minor misunderstanding J&B, and even though I know that he is more than capable of defending himself... Barry is one of the forum's good guys and makes one hell of a contribution to it on a regular basis.

Because I like your posts Barry, I always read them (and that's a lot of posts and photo contributions so far) and usually 'get' what you're saying and how you say it. So I didn't read the theoretically possible short tone in your reply. It did not register at all.

So the point is....

That's the trouble with text, sadly folks. You get no corresponding vocal intonation to colour your mental interpretation of the written words.

I am sorry if this was mentioned before but can someone tell me the difference between Die Cast and MMS? Which one is better, advantages, disadvantages?
Thank you

That looked really fun to do. I wish Marvel called our stunt team for that scene but they went for the skydiving specialists team. Our team doesn't really do skydiving, although I've been about 5 times and it is really exhilarating! I would've multiplied my number by 10 or more given how many takes they probably had to do.

Unfortunatley there's not a whole lot of info, as HT has not released one of their Die Cast figures. There has been stated concerns, such as paint flaking and not getting the same level of detail on stamped metal...

Hopefully in the next few months we'll see Iron Patriot released and have some idea of what we can expect from future die cast figures.

I want to try skydiving but i am not allowed to.
I am not allowed to bungee jump or skydive. The two things i really want to try, lol.

How come? :( Is it a medical reason?

It's a business issue.
My Brother and i, as co-owners of the business, are each insured for £500,000 each for accidental death and illness cover.
There are a list of things we are not allowed to do and still be covered.
And those two are on the list.
I could go sky-diving or bungee jumping. But i'd have to call my insurance company and have the insurance waived for that day...
So i won't bother, lol.

Is this the diecast fig that has a photoshopped head? Just wondering cause of the gap. Twas scrolling my tumblr dash and found it.

Starting to see payments for this bad boy coming through on my CC! Really getting pumped!

Here's hoping it's only delayed a month or two.
