Seriously, though, very much hoping for a new Mk IV. Don't care if it's plastic or diecast, so long as they fix the doggone fading codpiece issue (i.e., use PVC).

The Mark IV was done fantastic on 1st release (maybe the best of them all) and was re-issued again with the Gantry. There's literally no reason for Hot Toys to revisit it a 3rd time

It wasn't hard, you'll just need to cover much of the figure with painters tape. You could easily use a Gundam marker to add the silver marks, or you can paint a silver base coat with the red on top. After it dries, lightly scratch away some of the red paint to reveal the silver underneath.

It all depends on how they are made and treated. I have a large Matchbox collection, some of which are 50 years old and the paint is still pristine.

Think this suit will sell as good or better than Mark VII?
Mark IV is the only one I own as that, to me, IS Iron Man. If they redid it in diecast, I'd just hope they add the head sculpt and donuts...they were best part about that release. I'd probably get die cast Mark III too though. Mark XLII just doesn't doesn't do it for me(or any if these IM3 armors, minus Silver Centurian).

The Mark VII had problems of it's own with the whole face mask and the iffy HS. But I don't think it took away much from the playability of the figure, which I loved, and it probably got popular because it the Avengers suit.
Now if this suit doesnt have any problems it should do fairly well. You can switch out parts which is nice, the only factor I can see that would affect it is if you liked IM3 better than Avengers. That's silly cuz u know them crazy IM fans
No disc jockey table and microphone? Lol
