Trying to decide if I should risk waiting for my RP from superman or just use what I have now.

Well how long should it be till the RP is cleared? And if there's another future release coming out u can always use the points towards that 
I guess it takes 40 days after it ships, which I don't know when that will be. I have a good chunk of points now and will probably just go for it.

Just saw an updated Hot Toys release schedule. Looks like Red Snapper will be this month followed by the Mark 42 in February. (March stateside). I really hope this releases on time as it's now my most anticipated figure and will be the centerpiece of my collection.

Sideshow still shows Mark 42 release in February and Red Snapper in April.

Yea but what are the chances mk 42 stays in feb? Pretty slim I think, plus ip got pushed and so did war machine mk2 so it doesn't look good for mk 42. I will be super happy if it comes in feb though, been waiting for this suit forever.

Iron Patriot AND War Machine Mark 2 are both being released within the coming month. I think Mark 42 has a very good chance of releasing around March if not Feb.Yea but what are the chances mk 42 stays in feb? Where did you see that at? I only looked at the products main page which still shows feb.

one of the retailer i use in Canada has the mark.42 as 'Arriving soon' (target date being Feb. 28th) so....wouldn't that mean Sideshow has it arriving even sooner?

No, I wouldn't trust any retailer's placeholder dates. Even SSC can't control when HT can release a figure.

Yea when it comes down to it, Hot Toys has the final say when they are gonna hand it over to SSC, much to SSC's dismay :-\
