If I remember correctly, the point was to prevent the torn pants will cause stains..





Yeah I know right!! It's like the vest from John Matrix. I think it's the outer part of the black underpants the one that stain the body. Otherwise the legs were all black by now.

I wonder if washing the underpants can prevent this?

Look, I like the AOU one... and maybe I'll pick it up at discount one day...

But I remember the excitement and anticipation of this. And it came in stock
the week of my birthday. I felt like a kid again.

I'm a big Hulk fan and have the AOU Deluxe on pre-order. Have been watching the eBay auctions to see if some torn pants might show up and ran across an auction for the original big guy which was listed a bit odd and had a long estimated ship time. Price was pretty cheap so I decided to take a shot. Plus, I had just received a $20 off anything coupon from eBay, so bonus! Anywho, auction ended at $228, so I just got by far the best deal I've gotten on an HT figure at $208 for Hulk. Even better... guy shipped him the next day and he just showed up... so happy! Finally... I have a HULK!!! Now I won't feel bad posing the new Hulk in angry smash mode with Hulkbuster.

Took a few shots of him posed with my other favorite big guy, Groot. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the only one that came out half way decent.

I love this version of hulk. The AOU version came out good and all but this is the one I'm keeping for my avengers setup..

Only other potential hulks for me are the 1/4 Neva version and possibly the 1/3 comiquette version(which is massive)

Much will depend on how the paint on the final product turns out, but I prefer this roaring sculpt to HT's.

He guys just got my ikea detolfs. I'm wondering how you guys elevated or lowered the glass shelf to make this guy fit ?

I lowered the top shelf about six inches using cable ties. I think 1/4 inch. A little research and you can find out the correct size.
Shame you can't just remove the top shelf but there's just too much wasted space and it looks funny.
Enjoys the shelves. Post pics when you get it set up!

anyone know if I can separate the torso on this guy from his legs? I'd like to own both (A1&2) hulks, but I'd like to have the smash pose torso on my A1 hulk. wanted to see if anyone knows for sure before I remove the torso on this guy & buy A2 version

Wouldn't the skin tones be different from the torso to the legs?
