yeah I got this guy too. heck I put together another vader I guess I had a lot of parts left over from upgrading the ANH version to bash a ROTJ Vader. I might use the new HT ESB Vader helmet as the ROTJ version and use my KAIYODO as my ESB vader

Very Happy with this guy he is MOST Impressive.

I just don't like his big ol' bug eyes, it's not intimidating like having the helmet lowered. I know that's how it is in Empire and Return but it just looks goofy to me, one of the reasons ANH Vader is my favorite version, plus I like the tunic over the chest armour.

I'm surprised by the lack of modding going on for this figure, I know people are just starting to get him.

I agree about the eyes for a minute I thought about grinding his head peg a little to lower the helmet, then I came to my senses.

Someone just said screw screen accuracy? Torches and pitchforks at my place for $4.98!

He's never looked that bugged-eyed to me in the movie, but I agree it does kind of come across that way on the figure. Although I think a lot also depends on how brightly people are lighting him. Some of the better pics have him much more in shadow like he mostly was in the movie.

He does look fine in the movie, and you're correct about the lighting.

I think the issue on the figure is that the eyes almost have like a bottom eyelid that’s too pronounced. It’s there in the movie but there’s very little, whereas the figure has a lot.

Still don't have mine yet. :gah:

Has anyone posted the height of this guy? Is he about 13 1/4" or more like 13 1/2 - 13 3/4""?

yeah it's the shape of the eyes that's very off on the figure. It's even worse than the mouth and tusks

i prefer the helmet over the brow like ESB but not when the eye lens are all wrong
