I have the RO Vader which I've modified into an ANH, so I do still need a shiny ESB/ROTJ Vader in my collection. But now I'm undecided whether it should be this or the new 1/4 Vader. I kinda feel like one 1/6 Vader is enough for me, but $580 is also a heckuva lot of money...

I think I might just have to wait to see the final production pics for this one first.

I bet hottoys must release 1/6 Rotj vader like they release 1/4 scale bobafett frist then release 1/6 boba

I have the medicom rotj and rots, ss IV and deluxe and hot toys IV and still ordered this.

I am a little concerned that the dome seems to be really slanting downward in the back. Also, the proportions of the mask still look a little foxlike similar to the other Hot Toys Vaders. these things stand out more ofter seeing how accurate they got the 1/4th Vader.

Yeah, there aren't great pictures showing the new dome at various angles. A shame since I am sure a few of us are waiting to preorder based on how the dome turns out.

The gloves bug me, I like the hard plastic RO gloves but I guess this is more screen accurate to ESB

I'm considering it, but with all the other cool stuff coming out, I may pass. I'd essentially be buying it for the helmet. I won't use the display stand because he'll be too tall for a detolf. And I already have the RO version, which is nice and shiny.

Wasn’t the dome the shiniest in ROTJ . I think ESB was more dull..so I think HT did it to screen accuracy

Thanks for the pics! The mouth still looks a bit too large to me, but at least it's more symmetrical now and not drooping on the wrong side.

If I do decide to keep this, I'll probably have to put another RO head on it, since I like the look of that one a lot better.

It was pretty shiny/glossy in ESB too. Here's a pic from the meditation chamber scene.

These pictures really illustrate how it looks weird as if the dome is slanted backwards making the mask look longer. Anyeone else see what I am seeing?

Yep, but it'd be an easy fix for anybody with modding experience.

Why can they never get the color of the chest armor correct? Look how dark grey the grey stripes are from the actual movie. Looks like they're just reusing Rogue One chest armor with the silver and black stripes. So annoying.

The 3 pictures on the last page REALLY sells it to me

This is the closest the helmet has looked to the screen version of ANY Vader figure so far

The dome is NOT too slanted backwards. That's how it's supposed to be
