No likeness rights to squabble over is the reason we are getting this b4 a doc ock or green goblin.

I doubt seriously that merchandising contracts weren't signed for the Raimi films that gave toy manufacturers the rights to use the actors' likenesses. Those movies were glorified toy commercials as much as they were legitimate films.

I really hope so. I want at least ONE of the many faces Giamatti used

But I fear they may skip a head sculpt to keep the costs down…of course they'll charge whatever they want regardless...

Ok, so first Zod looks like he's wearing an Iron Man suit and now Rhino looks like a Transformer?

Whatever Spider-Man I have read, I always saw a different Rhino. This one:

Please pardon my ignorance but, have the movie people designed their own Rhino?

I love this statue.

While I liked the tank-like design of the movie Rhino, it isn't Rhino for me. They could have just CGI'd the whole thing like Hulk in the Avengers, and use Giamatti's face on it. Other people might think the old school design is stupid for the modern standards, but that's just how Rhino is characterized anyway.

Can't wait to see reviews of this guy lol. But yeah, if they don't make either Goblin or Electro that's kinda painful in some way to them.

I'd love to see Giamatti motion captured into the original Rhino skin suit though...

Hot damn, I'm shocked and delighted they did this. Rhino was brief but awesome in the movie

Very impressive! I like the design and reimagining of the Rhino. I have no problem when movies try to make certain characters more believable and grounded in reality. I kinda like the look of it, like the Iron man Mark 1.

However, I don't have any interest in getting it. I thought the first movie was pretty bland, and the new one looks like a mess. And from what I read about it, including spoilers, it doesn't seem any better. I'm actually very surprised it's getting such good feedback! Of course I'll keep my mind open til I watch it, most likely when it comes out on blu.

The spoilers Deckard posted does intrigue me. But the only way I can see the character of Peter really pulling it off is if he now has a death wish and fights recklessly like he doesn't care if he dies. And make his fighting so rage-filled, almost like Wolverine going berserk, taking Gwen's death out on any villain that dares to come his way. And then eventually he can reflect on that rage and come back down off the cliff and become the true hero. That would be one way of making his comeback a little more interesting and not so instant after an Aunt May pep talk.

I'm just going to be a little upset that we get this but end up getting nothing from X Men DoFP but another Wolverine figure

I mean with the price this is going to carry, how many people do they actually expect to pick it up? I heard it doesn't even play a big role in the movie

Yeah I agree. Hot toys is crazy if they think this will sell good. Only way I'd even consider is if it was $350 but that ain't happening!!!!

Well I'll be seeing the film this coming Thursday. Even if this doesn't play a big role in the film I'm still getting it. The first release we never got The Lizard to go with Spidey but this time around I'm glad we will be seeing hopefully all the villains. Will make a great display.
