You'd think by now some other company would have produced a knock-off version or kit like those for Black Widow. Heck, just make the head/mask, chest protector and gauntlets. The rest could be easily kitbashed.

Yeah, it's a smart move that they never released Cross Bones. I, personally, would never pick one up...even if it was at a severe discount.

But, for real, how many Crossbones fans are there...like honestly? Also, his screen time was so minimal that any casual collector would take a pass on it, especially when you consider the CW line had way more popular/recognizable characters to choose from. I don't blame HT for making a smart business decision.

I'd definitely pick one up. He was a great character. And his screentime isn't minimal if you count his Winter Soldier appearance.

lots of screen time or not, I need this guy on my cap shelf!

Would buy crossbones day 1 po. Interesting to see they're putting it out for display still. Wouldn't hold my breath on it being released, but i'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Just because civil war was 2 years ago doesn't mean that this figure will never be made to buy. While most figures come out within a year of the movie they're from, that has never stopped them from releasing figures from movies years later, it happens all the time... Unless they've officially canceled it that is, but I don't think they have. Especially since they're displaying him again. Maybe he'll be a summer con exclusive.

Would be an instant P.O. for me as well, regardless of screen time (since when has that ever mattered?)

I seen pictures of it this morning on facebook, but now I can't find them... I didn't bother sharing then because honestly, it seemed lacking compared to the HT proto (obviously). I didn't even have to compare them to notice something was off. That's pretty bad considering it doesn't even have a human head sculpt. Just my opinion anyway. I'd get HT's version if they ever decide to release it, but the character isn't nearly important enough to me to waste money on a knock-off.

Damn, so it’s not a CW Crossbones but a stylized interpretation, almost like a comic version of DAM’s Gangster Kingdom. You can see their Deathstroke is also stylized like CB:
