It doesn't ship IMMEDIATELY. It will ship within 24hrs of the charge. I ordered an in stock R5-D4. It said Item Shipping Soon. After a day it change to shipped. They just make sure the charge completes before shipping. Quite scummy of them to make sure the payment is valid before losing an expensive figure, I say.

They seem to be having port issues again but don't tell customers that until you contact CS. They charged for the Stan Lee figure Monday and it apparently still hasn't arrived in their warehouse. But you would never know what's going on unless you contact them. Even then it seems it depends on who you talk to there. None of the reps seem to be on the same page.

Wouldn't it be nice if they just banned people from ordering who said shot like that? Scummy? Really. Come on. Sideshow is one of th most stand up customer friendly sellers. They may charge a small bit more but they also do part replacements and flex pay and give away tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff every year. But they are called names when a guy has to wait an extra two days. People

They said they would begin charging on the 26th and to have the money ready then, now they don't even have the figure in stock till june. I know it doesn't ship immediately, but it usually only takes them 1 day to clear and ship. It's not unreasonable to be upset about that. If they were having problems they should have told us. It's not a couple of extra days either, it's like a week or more wait time.

Scummy might have been the wrong word i admit.

Yeah that huge gap between May 26 and June.

There's a difference between being upset and calling people names. Especially stuff like scummy. And, again, because you have to wait a couple extra days. Even if it's a whole week. It's not like they did it on purpose to mess with you. Things happen.

And you don't know it wil be a week. It has so far...let me double check....may 26 to May 27...a whole day. And your already calling them names. So yeah, I think hats pretty bad.

Shotgun turned up today, first off my magnets jumped ship and planted on the chin of one of the faceplates. The others came off with barely a touch as well, so keep an eye out on yours as the glue might be weak.

Its an easy fix but before regluing make sure you know which way attracts and repels by sticking them to the head. I marked the exposed side with a dot from a sharpie. Also here's what the lightup feature looks like sans faceplate

Its a pretty cool looking armor all around, but it really comes into its own in a flying pose- glad they have the neck a bit more "up" range than usual. Probably going to have to keep it this way for a while!

They always use bad cheap glue. I have had to reglue magnets so many times.

Wow overall this guy looks like he turned out great. I've been trying to avoid the slippery slope of IM again but I may have to go for this one because of its unique look and engineering.

Well got mine today and after a while of getting used to it, it might just be my favorite iron man suit. I love the blue and steel color scheme and just how beefy it looks. They eyes disappoint me a little, they are not as bright as i would like and seem to dim quickly after being on a minute or 2. The worst part was getting the battery compartment open on the head, i had to pry it open with a screw driver. The other minor nitpick i have is with how the mini figure attaches, its quite flimsy.

I received this on Wednesday and (like many others) really love the look of this suit. I'm recovering from shoulder surgery right now so I haven't attempted to install all of the batteries, nor have I put him on display. I may opt for an in flight pose, as a few of the pictures that have been posted here look fabulous.
