Stormtrooper Finn seems like a very iconic look for the character, and one we'll never see again since he's no longer a trooper. I'm going to be really bummed if they don't get him. Hm. Maybe I should just buy one on eBay....

You can also make a really inexpensive custom of him by just grabbing a head sculpt and neck peg. The FO stormtroopers, if you don't already have one, are really easy to get for around $150 now. I considered that before I eventually caved and ordered the Finn version off eBay. The bloody helmet is nice but wasn't necessary for me. I do like the sweat look though, as he was often sweaty in the film.

So I was messing around and you don't even need to do anything to the sculpt if you don't want to. I had one of those standard adapters, trimmed the bottom part only so that it was recessed in the sculpt and just used a small peg and it fits about perfectly.
There is an issue with the neck on my Jakku trooper, it split apart when removing the original helmet peg, so I believe I'm actually using an OT neck now. I'm pretty sure everything would still work with the original neck if the pegs pop out without breaking it.
The hardest part was getting the original peg out of Finn's head.

Nice set up, Darkseed. What are your thoughts on the head sculpt and how is the height? Same as the rest of the troopers?
Thanks.....the same height as the other troopers. I haven't really compared Finn sculpts as I wanted Stormtrooper look with weathering / blood. First glance, nothing stands out from the original sculpt. I think it has sweat but otherwise looks the same.
Just received my stormy Finn. Compared to the original Finn ( the stormy head is a bit chubbier in the cheeks and chin and in my opinion a tiny tiny bit darker skin tone) both sculpts look awesome to me ! Also the stormy Finn is the same height as the other first order troopers and shorter than the original Finn he's the same height as my original Finn and that's because I did the mod to lower him. Over all I love it especially the sweaty face. Great pick up! 
Nice, Jaymig! Interesting about the darker paint (lower lip seems to be darker in that first shot). I'm planning on shortening the body. They made a short Stormtrooper so I'm still a bit confused as to why they used a standard body for him.
No interior helmet detailing = easy pass..
What does the inside of their helmet look like?
The helmet is the same as the regular stormys just the white peg no detail. Hot toys should have detailed the inner helmet the same as Luke's but still a great piece overall
So after 30 years everything changes except the inside of the helmets? I think my point is that I still haven't seen what they're supposed to look like. I don't think Hot Toys should just be making it up if there's no source material.

Not surprising. It's probably the most desirable version of Finn.
Got this today and immediately ported it over to a short body I picked up from Toy Anxiety from the officer set. Height is much better next to Rey now (Ren has also been modified with slightly shorter ankle pegs). Crap pics, just trying to show off the height differences.
Couldn't be happier with this figure.
