Looks great from what I can see. At first glance, my only gripe would be the sculpted hair. I was hoping they would use rooted hair on him, so that way it sticks out a bit more in strands and there wasn't really much hair to have to put on him in the first place.

Slightly surprised at the price on this though. 200 bucks seems a little steep. I thought he would be more in the range of Rocket from GotG, which was in the $160 range if I recall. I suppose it's because it's Star Wars.

I feel the same way, afattori...

Already have both Sideshow versions...got the ESB version is on display with HT's Bespin Luke and the PT version on display with Padawan Kenobi...they look just fine.

The only real distinction I see here is the novel "closed-eyes" portrait and the diorama with the cheesy looking "floating rock" gimmick that looks more like something Hasbro might've done with a regular action figure...just sucks the "high-end" right out of it.

I know it's sacrilegious in here to not drink the HT kool-aid and automatically praise every SW release that they've done as perfect and better than any before but....while a few of them have been nice figures, some have definitely had their issues.

Not blown away here...I'll put the 200 on a figure that is a "new" character we haven't seen in high-end sixth scale yet...c'mon HT...give us some classic SW characters like Tarkin or Hoth Leia or Ackbar....

My Sideshow yoda works for me. 200.00 easy pass. Price too high. He is too fat also. Hts missed the mark for me on this one. Guess they did a hybrid of prequal and original trilogy on this one. Like the look of medicom one, looks more screen accurate like the puppet.

I have the medicom yoda. I did a body swap and gave him the jedi master body which makes him look a lot better in the articulation dept.

I don't think he's perfect and the price is higher than I'd like, but I can still see myself getting this. I love Yoda, and I must have him. That closed eye head sculpt is great. :rock

I don't see why it would come with a light saber since puppet Yoda never had one

They're Star Wars """"fans"""" who don't know what the **** they're talking about. :lol

I can't believe SS is going back to charge people the NRD who preordered Yoda when they forgot to put the NRD up.
I cancelled it and preordered it over at BBTS instead. but not sure I do like my custom medi. yoda might get both so I can have one displayed with his eyes closed.

No no it did not have a NRD when it first went up as it does now.......I have it on order currently with no NRD.

that`s what I thought and went to check and it was there. I to did preordered it when it had no nrd. I thought they were charging the nrd for orders of $250+. leia did not have a nrd when she went up for preordered and shw was the same price as the ht yoda at 199.99 and he now has a nrd what crap is this.

They have left the nrd off figures early on lots of times but I think this is the first time they have charged the fee retroactively. No way it will stand if challenged but a pain in the ass to have to call.

I don't know the price is high but when you consider its a newly developed unique body plus two head sculpts, a diorama base, a fair amount of accessories including the lantern with LED functionality I can see where the price gets a bit higher.

What do you think Sideshow will say if asked about the nrd? Hopefully they'll be honorable and fix this.

At 13cm tall he seems a bit oversized. Yoga is .66m which is roughly 26". This is evident on dagobah when he is next to Luke. This figure comes in at around 5 inches.
