Man I'm glad I have the main OT figures. Although Yoda is iconic in the Star Wars mythos, this just doesn't hit the mark for me. I will definitely wait for in hand photos and coupon before considering. Thread unsubscribed.

I just had to check to see how much i paid for my SSC Yoda and it was $80 after the $20 coupon. I think this one looks better but i have plenty off things i could use $200 on and the SS version looks fine on the shelf.

I can see where the Medicom fans are coming from....but I still have to give this one to HT.....

Man...I really hope Hot Toys refines this sculpt. If they could just squish his head down to flatten a bit from the top to bottom....make his eyes bigger, buggier, and cut out some of the jowls, it would look much better. It's missing the whole overbite, muppet, cuteness factor. I can't see Hot Toys changing the sculpt as much as I want them to. It's a wait and see for me.

Actually I take it back....it's this kind of pessimism that is just poisoning the community. I'm going to enjoy this release regardless of other people's expectations.

Totally agree, head is too round.

They changed up Han (not for the better), hopefully they tweak Yoda a bit

I hate to say it but I think this is the worst HT prototype I have ever scene! It has no life to it whatsoever, it just looks like a lump of plastic!

The sculptors hair looks awful and the eyes, don't even get me started on the eyes

I thought I was going to be blown away by this, instead I guess I'll be without a yoda still!
