Ahhhhh, memories. Before the mid-'90s Star Wars action figure renaissance this was the closest we had.

I could only bring myself to buy R2, they were that bad, and people complain about POTF2 range. Still it does say they are a limited edition, so must be worth something now [emoji50]

ANH Chewie can be futzed and combed in a good way. The new one seems way more futzable![emoji1][emoji6]

Took photos of one of the screen used jackets when I was in LA earlier this year ... the jacket on this prototype is 98% accurate. This could be the best out of the box figure ever ... can't wait to see when these get released

He's in both of the next two films.

Really? If he is then he's already shot his scenes for the next two. I didn't think he signed on for anything other than TFA.

The problem with the TFA Chewie figure is the moustache/top part of mouth is too big...shorten that up and make the nose a bit bigger and BAM.

What improvements do you think they've made on the new Chewie aside from the moveable mouth tho?

Hard to tell for sure, but it appears these latest Han pics all have the narrower head from the Hong pic, which is cool to see.

Unfortunately it appears they still haven't lengthened Chewie's bandolier at all. The bag should be hanging closer to his knees but they still have it up around his waist for some reason.

View attachment 272410 Yeah his mouth isn't wide enough, and those teeth! The whole mouth piece looks like a set of those joke things that you wind up and watch them chatter.

Total proportion mess up. Dead horse I know. It's my thing. Bashing the strange cosplay Chewbacca action figure.

Han looks great in that pic. Even Chewbacca looks better to me there too.

I'm still amazed they were able to execute it on a production scale as well as they did. Chewbacca has been a Star Wars customizer's bane for so long now. It's nice to see not one but two of them available for sale.
