There is absolutely no panic there, angry resignation yes but panic, no. After all, its not like figures have not been cancelled before. Isnt the XM:FC line pretty much dead in the water, after display of prototypes? And what about Prometheus? Nope, hardly a peep. Chitauri? MIA.

I doubt that will happen to Loki, given his popularity but its not unprecedented. The first Loki figure sure got scuttled.... one wonders when the Coulson figure will be released, haha.

Whether it was intended to show panic or not, EVERYONE here read it as panic.

And you are passing on inaccurate information. Unless you have info that no one else does, XFC and Chitauri have not been cancelled. I don't follow prometheus, so I can't respond to that.

If I remember properly, the only figure that was officially announced and cancelled was Rorschach. A pic Loki from Thor was leaked, but it was never officially announced as an upcoming figure.

The only line cancelled before any figures was Green Lantern, the rest are as of now still active. Just 50 times slower than Loki's delay

FYI: Loki isn't only figure delayed, they've nearly all been pushed back or will be pushed back.

Spidey was set for December, (the savvy of us knew it wouldn't make that date) then February, and now April too.

I'm confused... if I'm reading some of this correctly, do some people actually expect Hot Toys figures to be released on time?



I've come to realise pretty quickly that whatever date is on the pre-order is pretty much redundant. They're out when they're out and I'm comfortable with that, gives me time to save!!!!!!

I hope no one takes this personally, but anyone who doesn't realize the release dates are estimations, needs to wake up. EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP ASSUMING THEY WILL RELEASE ON TIME. None of them do. Delays/changes are the norm. Monger took over a year to release. All you are doing is torturing yourself. I like getting mine as quickly as possible also. But there is nothing that can be done about it. I love these drugs...I mean toys. I'm not cancelling. I'll just wait.

I was hoping for my joker 2.0, Bane, Black widow, and cat woman in march for my birthday GUESS WHAT??????????????? They have all been delayed till I dont know yet!!!!! its part of collecting I guess. I am honestly wondering if this figure is going to be cancelled. And I am serious as a heart attack.

If we see Loki within the confines of 2013, I'll be surprised. I'm just starting to think we are not going to get him at all.... and it has me rethinking my Tony Stark preorder.

I wouldn't be too worried about this one. It is very popular and WILL NOT be cancelled. Delayed.... Unfortunately yes. Since I started collecting these, I've learned to expect delays.... Constant delays. Hence, whenever they give a tentative release date, I always tell myself within 6 or so months of it anyway.

Actually, you have no information whatsoever. We cannot say that it has been cancelled yet, but by equal measure, you cannot say that it hasn't either. The GREEN LANTERN line wasn't cancelled, until it was...so NO ONE is passing on inaccurate information

You mean this picture from an actual HOT TOYS 2011 Products catalogue...?

Whilst it is true it was never officially announced, I sense a slight splitting of hairs here, as that picture, next to Thor, made it pretty clear that they were all for it to begin with. Having it in the "Upcoming Items" catalogue was the give away, I think. Didn't Howard say himself that the THOR-Loki was cancelled in favour of the AVENGERS-Loki? Pretty sweet for a figure that was never officially announced.

No one is happy about delay. And sorry for making that broad statement and using the generalization by say everyone. It wasn't that big a deal for you to take it that persoanlly. The EVERYONE I referred to was those who already responded.

And as far as what information, my statement is accurate. The figures mentioned are not canceled. You can say anything MAY be cancelled. But I commented on statement they were cancelled. Thats not accurate.

Was gonna skip this and wait for a Thor 2 version (too many releases scheduled for the next two months), but more delays might actually work in my favor and let me get him.

But sorry to those who want him right now, we all know waiting for that one really special figure can be kinda painful.

Haha this is exactly my strategy too. "5 figures due out in March? Won't see them all at once so order away!"

I don't think many people expect a HT figure to be released "on time"n but what is a reasonable number of delays, and why even list a releae date if is impossible to make that date happen? I mean, Thor and Widow were still listed as December IN December...and now both are March at best.

I have only been collecting these a little over a year and i understand the dates they give mean nothing at all. I add 2 to 4 months to any dates they give and if it arrives early it's a nice surprise.
