Yeah, it's great for what it is, and a real step forward for Hasbro Marvel Legends. I'm planning on doing a multiple scale display that shows the team in 1:18 scale, 1:12 scale, and 1:6 scale.

Being in the UK, we don't get them there, but as Loki in general is one of my favourite Marvel villains, I had to get this. I didn't really wanna pay the outrageous prices on eBay, but I did manage to get one for around £20 including shipping. Not sure how much that is in $!

That's probably a decent deal including shipping. I've seen some figures from the wave go for a lot more than that.

I'll keep my eye out, but Walmart handles their exclusives really poorly.

One reason I really like Hot Toys is you can order them online, no messing with brick and mortar stores.

It is a sad fact that as prices rise, people are going to raise the expectations-bar higher and higher. This is a thing companies need to keep firmly in mind.

I had no idea actors had the ability to give approval on sculpts, I thought they signed all that away as part of their contract. Obviously RDJ has an agent who knows what he is doing.... must say that I dont care for his open-mouthed sculpt much. From the nose upwards its fine, something about that mouth is off.

Exactly what I mean. An entire headsculpt will be thrown off, no matter how good with a un-natural expression. Ah well, I still have CA on preorder.

How is everyone going to display their Loki? I am going without helmet.

I will display both ways, as the whim takes me - but not too often, because I fear paint scratches. Both ways are so beautiful, I am going to have to see them both.

I'm really confused about where and how I will display the whole figure, and if I'm going to have to have Thor to go with him. I may need Thor, but am going to wait because I'd prefer not to pay full price. If Thor sells out we will probably get a new one next year with the new movie, so its not super-urgent... confused about what to do, and how to do it.

Whenever I'm given options on how to display something it drives me a bit nuts, b/c I want it displayed both ways. That's really possible financially though, b/c it would mean one less Avenger. I'll probably display him with his helmet to start. I might grab a second head and body off ebay to display him in his suit anyway (unless by December HT has announced another Loki figure).

I will be extremely surprised if we don't get a second Loki for Thor 2, given the voracious response this figure has generated.

That would be awesome, but I agree, I don't see it happening but who knows? I'm still waiting for the Warriors Three, Sif, and Heimdall. It seems that lines like Cap & Thor just aren't given enough releases to really realize the richness of the diverse cast of characters.

Me too. I'm still wondering if Marvel is going to continue changing everyone's outfits from movie to movie. It could become annoying if everyone from Black Widow to Odin is getting a wardrobe change every movie. I hope we start seeing some consistency. At least my wallet does, lol.

I hope we see more characters, Marvel movies are becoming pretty big so I think just about anything will sell at this rate. It would be nice to have a bigger universe to display.
