Although I love the idea of either Puttin' on the Ritz, Stuttgart-black-tie affair Loki OR the Thor1 Loki, i think the next Loki we are likely to see will be from "Thor: The Dark World." i can't wait to see what he'll have on in that one, Loki's costumes have been so fantastic so far that they're going to have to work hard to top those.

I could almost guarantee that a good majority of the members on this board have no idea what you meant by "Puttin on the Ritz" statement

I got the reference too! That would also make for a great exclusive alongside a bruce banner, but we may most likely see Loki from Thor 2 and won't get our hands on it until sometime in 2014.

This right here is my first pre-order for Hot Toys. I just couldn't pass it up. Now it has sparked a fascination with Hot Toys and 1/6 in general. I hope to get a figure or two this week from a local shop but I ordered him first so for me its my first HT.

Like all other major HT licenses, this one will be hot. It'll be even hotter because it's a full line - something HT has never really done before (or at least not to this extent). I anticipate that once the figures go to Waitlist, they'll get harder to find, as it will trigger other sites to sell-out and create the usual "sold out grab one from where ever you can" mentality.

None of these will really hang around like Reeves Supes has, as I bet most people who have one POed have at least one other Avengers figure POed, as well - if not close to the full set.

HT should release Thor 1 Loki, as an special and limited edition maybe, that costume was really, really nice, he look like a true prince, majestic. The Avengers costume look like a pirate (as it should be) but still majestic lol

I agree with you. This is still an extremely cool figure but it's not for me.

This may be my only Avengers figure since it's the only one that can really display by itself. And Loki was portrayed really well in both movies.
