I finally got I chance to put the batteries in this, spend a good amount of time messing around and now I can finally appreciate how awesome this figure is. The range of articulation is amazing and ratchet knees and sturdy ankles do a great job of bracing the weight. Am I sold on the whole die-cast thing? I do like it a lot but I can still just as easily take the usual plastic construction but with all of the new upgraded features (leg button, ratchet knees, pull down arms/elbows for better range of motion, deeper crunch in the midsection, etc.). If all of these new extras couldn't work on the plastic bodies, then yea, I'm sold on die-cast.

Still really liking the fact that the mix of plastic parts makes it not TOO heavy

Anybody got theirs from cornerstorecomics yet? They charged me on June 16 but when I called them to ask why it hasn't shipped yet, they said they still haven't received their shipment. I assume it's coming from Sideshow.

Sometimes certain retailers are the last to get shipments. I've seen many times where SS is shipping a piece to retail customers who bought directly from them, and local shops will still be waiting for their batch

Great name & avvy BTW :yess:

Thanks for the compliment! c",) Well, even BBTS whose usually last in receiving stock has already had him for about a month. The only reason I've gone with CSC is because of they were slightly lower in price than SSC but higher than BBTS and being located in SoCal which meant shorter shipping time. Oh well.

Thanks guys! I am going to try to collect the avengers, at least one character don't care what movie as long as it looks good. Have thor on PO. Can't wait for it. Thinking about getting an iron man figure after that. Maybe 42 or atleast centurion. I missed put pn mark 3-7, you think they'll relaunch it again?

at some point Yes but maybe not for a while

Okay I will say this. I'm tempted to use the $25 coupon on this... If I buy this. Behold I have fallen into the Iron Man Trap.

Breadstickman and ApeManRyan.. If you have any type of compulsive tendencies then stay far far away from Iron Man. It really is a trap! Lol

I was tempted a long time ago & managed to stay away from buying one...but I finally gave in. This figure didn't disappoint though! I'm blown away seeing it for the first time in my hand.

It truly is a great figure. I'm debating but at the same time trying to stay away from Iron Man. I think luckily ED-209 or the Crow may win my order as of now. Such decisions. :gah: :lol
