I don't. That's all in-camera. No Photoshop.

Looks awesome.

This is a wonderful looking figure but I'm a bit confused as to why this goes almost under 50-100 dollars on the aftermarket

yea i don't get it either. seen them used going for $210-$225 shipped on ebay. take away the fees and your well below $200 you get from selling!

hell even SS had them on their 30% special not too long ago and with reward points its was $200!

never understood it as this is a pretty cool figure?

One light bounced off of a black paper backdrop, two big soft boxes from behind and to either side, and one soft light from the front and above his face.

That's why I asked about his light set up :lol

I'm just starting photography and I was thinking of getting one external flash and soft box to go with it but wasn't sure about it.

I put off getting IP for the longest time and when I was finally ready to commit it was on WL at SSC. I was bummed and thought I missed the boat on this one until I started looking around and couldn't believe some of the great deals. This is one of the coolest armor designs IMO and I doubt these deals will last forever. I think if Tony Stark had suited up in the IP armor onscreen this would have been one of the more desirable figures out there.

Once again Rook, fantastic pics. I'm very much torn on whether to get the IP or the AoU War Machine Mark 2. I recently cancelled my preorder of the Mark 43 and got a Mark 42 instead (I prefer the colours and the damaged face sculpt) and I'm very happy with it. I've been offered an AoU WM Mark 2 for a reasonable(ish) price but still more than I'm ideally happy to pay for a 1/6 figure. I really like the IP paint/colour scheme and he seems to photograph extremely well whereas the WM Mark 2 has a very subdued colour scheme. That said, in hand the WM may be a great contrasting piece to display next to the relatively bright and colourful Mark 42. Plus his scarcity and the fact that I've been able to secure one is also tempting. Decisions, decisions.

Once they revealed War Machine's look in AoU i got an Iron Patriot cheap on eBay. I prefer the color scheme and saved a bunch of money. As a Spider-Man fan, i even contemplate putting in on the Spidey shelf as a sit in for Norman. It was a win win to pick Iron Patriot over War Machine for me.
