I really, really hope that some of the diecast figures are at SDCC for our viewing pleasure.

I really wanted an Iron Patriot figure (I would've placed him in my villain shelf as Norman Osborn), but at this price, I'm gonna have to pass. Too little for the amount of money. In fact, I'm gonna have to pass on all of HT's diecast line.

I would imagine that they would....the question is - how many new IM figures (and other HT figures) will be there?

It's really a shame that SSC doesn't go to any other conventions. They should have been at Wondercon last week. Shoot their office is like an hour away!

Nah Hot Toys will want at least this or the Mark 42 out before the end of the year I would suspect so I think there's a good chance this will land before the end of the year

I think he will start fresh out of the gate as IP and Tony will bring him in a new WM for the final battle at the large dock site we are seeing when all the marks come in.

That's what I hope too. My theory is they are holding out on revealing some features until after the movie hits because they might be tied to major plot points of the film. Just a theory.

Hopefully HT will redesign after the movie as they did with WarMachine in IM2.... that may entail long delay of the figure though....

AutoCad correction and 3d printing should make the process easy/fast... HT should sell the design so we can printing it ourselves.

AH-HA! Why doesn't the figure have this arm missile thingy?! I want this arm missile thingy! Patriot probably has tons of weapons, which the figure is missing. For $300. I bet the Hasbro toy has them They have make these corrections.

The mark II wasn't made for Rhodey he was lucky he didn't have a heartattack.. so Tony creates the War Machine II for him. And then I guess Rhodey repaints it and turns it into Iron Patriot, this is well known by the people that saw the first 20 minutes of the movie, I think there are a few articles about this
