They could just be decals they slapped on for the prototype. Take the original War Machine for example. You don't see the logos and wording on it peeling off. Not to mention this isn't even fully diecast so the logos may be on the plastic parts. Figure isn't due for a long time, no reason to fear so early.

Thinking about placing an order for him now for the $25 coupon to get it off my chest.

Probably also why WM2 would not be announced until after 30 April... probably even until 2nd May

Another set of photos that I took at AC's Iron Man Exhibition.

Is it just me, or does it look like the shoulder cannon just clips in on either side rather than sliding from shoulder to shoulder?

Looks like you are right that is kinda a bummer, hopefully thats just a prototype thing.

It looks more like it slides back and forth but for it to stay in one side, you need to push it into the peg.

Yeah I'd say it'll move in the final thing. In flight it settles behind the head. If the old War Machine could move wherever it'd be going backwards to not have this one be able to move.

I don't know... the channel is a fairly complex shape to try to move something around in compared to the first WM. I don't think it'd be impossible, but I feel like the channel shown isn't deep enough to indicate that the gun will slide back and forth.

SSC just processed my nrd for Iron Patriot. I guess my order is good even though I used $25 off ironman code.

Nah those angles on the "track" are too sharp for it to slide on the toy. Its not deep enough for anything to hold it inside the figure either. It probably just pulls out and re-pegs on either side.

I hope it's slidable. The gun could slide across the track on the first WM, granted it was straight and not angled like that. Plus it had shoulder mounted missiles, guns on it's arms, air flaps, coolness, and so on.

Easier to mold the thin rails necessary in plastic vs diecast. With the move to metal, i suspect we'll see a lot of the little details like that simplified in the interest of making the mold easier to form for working with metal.

Why does everyone keep saying killian wore the suit when it was his lacky, the bald one? Salvin I think
