Yup he'll be my comic SM.

If the magnet hand design prove to be an improvement in person, hopefully Hot Toys' next Spider- Man is a combination of the SM3 Black Suit and this ASM2. I liked the way they implemented the pop on head more than these sewn shut versions with the red and blues. No fears of undefined chins, ugly seams, etc. Combine that with the magnetic hands feature and it should prove to be the best one.

I love this thread.

But seriously, this movie (that this excellent figure is based on) truly sucked imo. I fell asleep in the theater, that's how horrible it was.

It goes against everything I believe in if I get it. As nice as it is.

Like getting a Clooney Batman if ever released.... It'll likely be beautifully made, but it will always remind me how bad that movie was. Idk, I'm weird like that I guess.

Movin on, FIGHT!

Call me crazy, but I would actually buy a Clooney Bats.

I’m not fond of the Spidey reboots, but I think I might pick this up because it looks incredible, and this was probably the best Spiderman performance onscreen so far, just so happened to be a bad film.

Don’t know if I can afford this yet though, I bought 4 figures last month, and I have the Bat armory, and T1 Terminator coming next month.

It's true.

Did you get Hot Toys Spider-Man 3?

A Clooney Bats would be very, very tempting.

That's the thing. I'm a huge TF fan, but I've never bought a single Bayformer. This fig does look phenomenal though.

No man, I wasn't collecting at the time.

I guess I can be a little hypocritical though. I bought the Mark 42 simply because of its looks, like a hot chick at a bar that is only going to get you to buy her drinks but, really, there's nothing else going on than wanting to do her. I actually feel a bit of buyers remorse when I look at it. If it was from, say, IM 1 it wouldn't be as bad I think. I might just sell the damn thing.

I used to have pretty standard poses for my Spider-Man figures but I now much prefer dynamic poses, especially if done right and this figure (thanks to Clipper's pictures) is one of the most poseable Spidey's to date and deserves to be put in an awesome pose.

When I get mine I'll be struggling to decide how to pose it. I love the clothed look.... but I really want to explore the dynamism in the posing.

I change up the poses of the Spidey 3 figures and my ASM Spider recently but here is how my ASM used to be displayed.

Also awesome idea posing him up against the glass Ric. Might toy around with that when mine gets here.

Can an owner tell me a bit more about the weird puffiness on the upper part of the bicep? look like spideys wearing a t shirt underneath the suit, really bad looking

Something about spidey threads brings the drama

After seeing the pics and videos, I've gone from not even considering to will be buying this
Can't believe ht changed the proto so much, glad they did

I don't own it, but didn't Clipper say in one of his videos that there was some sort of stuffing around the shoulders? I guess it's in the biceps now as well? Is that supposed to bulk him up or does it have something to do with the articulation?

Nice mini-reviews Clip! I wouldn't want them to replace the full reviews you do but they were a nice change-up for the ADHD in me. The awesome articulation is exactly what I wanted HT to incorporate in this figure. Of all my figures, Spider-Man is the one I want to be able to display in some crazy poses so I'm glad to see I'll be able to recreate pretty much any comic book pose I want. I'm looking forward to finally getting mine in-hand but until then--more pics!

Havent watched yet, either way it looks bad
