If they charge you today if be surprised if anyone got it with in day. Especially given the weekend and holiday this week. Have you gotten it a day after you where charged before?

Yeah, I got the Iron Man MK.42 a day after shipping since I'm in California. Actually received the figure before the shipment confirmation—wasn't expecting it.

Did the exact same thing, at worst Ill get the regular version next year, the figure is nice but not nice enough for me to pay full price for it. Congrats to the one who gets my EX version too. Gone are the days where you have to pre order figures because they will be out of stock soon.

The recent exceptions to this may be the Star Lord and Marty McFly exclusives. Both are sold out on Sideshow after being waitlisted, but I doubt the regular versions will be in danger of selling out.

It is quite annoying that SS takes our money and doesn't ship it right away

Well I think blaming SS about shipping is not reasonable. This companies works (at least try to work) with supply chain. There's a time for pulling the orders from supplier (here it's Hot Toys) and shipping them to customers. The period has been planned maybe months ago. It's simple logic of supply chain and JIT. There's no one to blame here.

I'm not blaming them for not being able to ship them right now, I'm blaming them for charging us when they aren't ready to ship.

I think there's a thread somewhere else for complaining about Sideshow's shipping strategy, but it has been a current trend lately. My Robocop was charged and shipped the next week. Spider-Man was charged on the 13th, and I still haven't gotten a tracking number yet. Other companies charge for products when they are in stock unless they have a notice posted that they will charge sooner. If this keeps up, I may blow my reward points on an item and start pre-ordering somewhere else.

Have you seen the movie costume it's based on? Looks pretty spot on, to me.

What exactly do you mean by too cartoony? And not to point out the obvious, but this is a supposed to be a nerd in a homemade spandex suit..that's what Spider-Man is..so I'm not sure how else it should look. To me, and again, it's all opinion, (though mind is always right..ok so maybe not but anyway) I think this new suit is the most comic/source accurate marvel costume(movie/tv) to date.

i mean look his eyes they are so large and yes its true he looks more like the marvel comic spiderman then in the old movies but i dont know hm..

Doesn't hurt to call SS, they are very helpful, I did and she told me Spidey will be on its way on Monday, I went to eBay and copped a Garfield HeadSculpt, hopefully it rocks well so I can have at least two looks, they should have included an extra head...every figure should come with 2 at least
