Mine arrived today and had the same poor seem on the head and had a black smudge on top of the head. i wrote to SS immediately, and am waiting hear back from them.

Try moving the neck to the left or right, so that the clip releases the neck from the body.

Still no go man. It ain't coming off.

The head may be glued. I wouldn't risk it since if you damage it, it wont be replaced as the directions say not to remove it.

Nice. It's all good, the flash is too close to the figure, maybe lay off the flash or zoom in for your shot from a distance so the flash doesn't hit it so hard?

Got mine last night! This thing looks like it's fun! Now I need a skinny true type and some clothes to make my Garfeild Peter Parker with the first Spidey's head.

Still no go man. It ain't coming off.

It's not glued on trust me, did you try rocking it side to side and also need to pull it up when you do. It's not glued, but it's tightly switched, you just have work it in

just received my figure, it has a black point next to the stitching and the stitching also doesnt look good. anyone else has the same problem? ordered via sideshow but i live in euope. is it very hard to get an replacement?

ah just found it, yeah some guys even have some bigger oil stains. dont know what i should do. but paying 200 bucks and 70 bucks for import fees for an figure that i am not happy with is too much for me.

I think the others are emailing SSC for a replacement or something. I'd probably give that a go as well if there is no easy fix. Hopefully they don't charge anything more for that.
