I don't think SSC is gonna be able to top this in their Marvel line-up. If it looks this good in pics, it will likely look better in person. Glad I PO'd. Can't wait to have this in my collection. Best Spidey so far!

If you're a fan of the classic suit and there aren't any QC issues, it'd be pretty tough to turn down.

Yep. Until (if) a better comic version comes along, this is the only Spider-Man figure I need.

The rubber red shows off the subtle webbing in his suit better and works much better with the black webbing. This cotton version looks cheap and the fabric hides the subtle webbing. HT I pre order the figure based on the proto you showed! What happened !?!?!

Well, that update just motivated me to get on the 'wait list' for the SS exclusive. I'm impressed they did such an overhall! I went from hating it to thinking him quite worthy. Perhaps the best 1/6 Spidey I've seen.

The figure still missed on some little details -- like the shade of red used, and the cut of the red part of the suit along the sides of his chest through the deltoids -- but I'm really happy with it. I was already prepared to say goodbye to my $25 NRD in case this turned out like the proto. Good thing I kept my faith

People were pretty vocal about the suit material. No way HT could have ignored it, at least that's what I'm hoping.

Yeah, what you saw at STGCC three weeks ago is probably what you're gonna get.

These responses to the first guy came 4 hours to early . Though, I would've agreed with you guys too! No way, I would've thought Hot Toys would've made such a dramatic improvement in the eleventh hour. Glad they did though.

I decided I'm not going to buy this early. Not worth spending the extra money so re-ordered through Sideshow but used The HouseParty2014 Promo code to get him a bit cheaper. Works for me! Very pumped to get this in. Not too bummed that I cancelled my EX.
