Curious as to why they went with that. Would have worked nicely if they made the suit wrap around an articulated hand underneath it.

I have to imagine that if they went with articulated hands under cloth there'd be a high chance of it ripping.

The original Hot Toys Spider-Man was the same way. It's because they're plastic hands.

I guess theres no way to make the material thin enough on the fingers.

This turned out much better than the prototype. Glad they made the right decision and went with the fabric from the previous Spider-Man figures and not that vinyl crap that plagued the prototype.

I went from being kind of meh about this guy to being excited. Looks fantastic and I'm so glad they changed up the suit! Glad I got the EX. Looks like he will be a really fun figure to display.

What a pleasant surprise. I wish HT didn't make the "belt" too wide and the chest fully-covered by the red part of the suit, but I'm so happy I can't wait to have this guy on my shelf.
