Shoot, I kept thinking Bones was the TF EX, haha. What does Python do again in the film? From the look of his accessories, he looks almost like a repaint Mk7, like the Midas was.

This is what he does in the IM3 movie for 3 seconds.

That's Midas. You can tell by the legs. It just looks black because of the lighting.

That pic was tagged XX Python. I understand what you are saying about the legs. Python should have thicker legs. Either way Whether its Midas, or Python, they basically did the same thing. Hover and Explode I still like the figure.

I take your point ..however I'm going to have to request the source for that $45 production cost.. Neca maybe, Hot Toys I doubt it.

You're probably right, it very well could be more. Just using those numbers as an example.

Actually, 7,000 Pythons would probably be a bit less to produce per figure maybe like $37 per figure compared to 5,000 Midas' at $40 per figure. But these are just estimates.

I just preordered Python myself . Omg . Hope to see videos and pictures of this guy at sdcc next Friday .the black and gold is very interesting . I might even cancel my mark 42 if this looks killer .

I don't expect this to sell out in 2 days. Midas was a "summer" release and it got major hype because it released over seas about 3 months before SSC got it in. So when it was finally available people ordered like crazy. The price on Midas hasn't gone up as much as people had hoped. I've seen them go for $350 which is what i paid getting it from SS. This is a pass for me as it's using the same HS as Centurion and body of midas with black trim. HeartBreaker on the other hand is much different with new Head and nice arc reactor.

No. You cannot copyright a likeness or use a likeness without consent. Each individual can charge whatever they wish for someone to use it. You, Jeff12burq could charge $1 miilion dollars to use your likeness, nobody is going to pay it but you can still charge a million bucks.

If they do, you have legal rights to stop the use or collect at go.
