I would pay up to $300. The only way I'd pay more is if they did a Magneto two pack with both the past and future versions. HT has everything to gain and very little to lose by making a Magneto figure. If they make it and it doesn't sell well then they just invested a small amount to learn that the x-men line isn't really worth their time. But if it does fabulously well then they will see that x-men is a line worth making and hopefully make a few more figures. The prevailing logic is definitely on the side of making at least one more major character in order to test the waters.

:exactly:

A past and future two pack would be awesome.

Yup, Professor X should get the same treatment.

How can they not make fassneto? Did they spend money on a permit from fox to use wolverine only? I would pay $400 for that magneto. I would pass on HT ultron for HT Fassneto.

Briareos just went up for $234.99 so obviously DOFP Wolverine doesn't signal a new minimum msrp for barebones figures.

$235, no actor's license but with a unique, one-and-done body (and a couple of guns) -- somehow it tells us that there's really more to pricing than we think.
