I bet a lot of people would buy magneto for $240. Some would pay $400 (myself in this pool b/c I have lost my mind). I'll hold out and hope HT makes a magneto. I bet some company does, be it years down the road. I'll end up buying Ultron since we obviously aren't getting any other character besides wolverine.

At this point I would pay $400 as well. I know it's crazy but Magneto is my favorite Marvel character of all time and to have a movie accurate 1/6 figure with the high quality of a HT figure would be worth it to me. This would still be less expensive than a private commission. As long as it had a few sets of hands and a helmeted and unhelmeted head sculpt along with a cool base, $400 would be as high as I would go.

Scratch that, throw in the yellow and blue First Class outfit as an extra, and I'd do $400 too. I get that a lot of people are excited about Ultron, but I was never a big Avengers kid growing up. I only bought an Ultron figure because he was a cool looking robot character (with light up eyes!). Magneto was far and away my favorite villain, and since my favorite X-characters have all been horribly portrayed in the movies, I'll splurge on a Fassbender Magneto (while silently hoping it doesn't sell for more than $250 if it ever comes down to it).

I loved X-Men more than Avengers as a kid, plus Magneto is probably my 2nd most favorite Marvel villain (further reinforced by Fassbender's version), so I do feel your pain. And while Ultron is my all-time fave, I think it speaks volumes of my view towards the Avengers when I favor the genocidal robot over the heroes. :lol

Magneto could crush Ultron into a little ball and toss him out into space in about 10 seconds.
Now it's easy to say that under the pretense of "Magneto bends metal therefore he beats Ultron", but when you factor in the kind of stunts they've pulled in comics? I doubt it.

If Iron Man can last against Magneto by building even the most basic defenses, I'm sure that someone like Ultron, who Stark attributes as possessing superior intellect, could easily find a way to stand against Magneto. This is the same robot that survived being blown up inside a star when his entire body was completely destroyed. This is the same robot that the heroes of the Marvel U practically had to BEG to lose, otherwise its constant victories could break the entirety of reality/time/space.

Again, easy to throw around the "Magneto manipulates metal", but Ultron isn't just a piece of scrap metal. Ultron is something that Stark has continually described as being smarter than him and many others, to the point that he's literally been described as Earth's greatest evil (I'm not kidding) and has since been fighting it out with cosmic-tier heroes in his most recent appearances.

If we're talking about the movies, well then that's still unknown territory, but in the comics? Ultron is pretty damn tough.

You're not actually Ultron, are you? :lol

I hope the Fassbender Magneto comes with both a helmeted head and a regular head plus a helmet by itself. I'd like the option to display him holding the helmet too.

If HT ever does a Fassneto, the helmet setup will probably be the same as Avengers Loki.

Even though I'd prefer a 2-pack of Fassbender and McKellen, a set of Fassbender in costume and civies like the Cap set from Winter Soldier would be an instant buy from me.

I certainly hope not. :lol

That would be pretty neat, but if it means getting a helmet that doesn't sit well or a headsculpt that looks shrunken down, I'd prefer two separate head sculpts instead.

Just being a realist, I doubt there would be two Fassbender headsculpts, although it would be preferable. Apparently, it was a PITA for many to get that helmet on the Loki head - they were constantly worried about paint rubs and whatnot.

So this is MMS264, BD Robo and BD Robo with Murphy 2-pack are MMS 265 and 266 respectively, while Appleseed's Briareos is MMS269. Has HT unveiled MMS267 and 268 yet, which I might have just missed out on?

Are there any threads that keep track of that stuff? Would be absolutely awesome to have and follow. List in order of MMS, VGM, DX....etc.

Good eye; I don't think HT's announced those yet. At least there isn't anything new on their website that would fit in those spaces.

I don't know about threads, but this is the best site I've found lately. There was a much larger checklist website somewhere, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

There was this website that I used to have bookmarked, but I have already deleted it as they are no longer updating their list, and the bookmark started re-routing to another site. It had all HT releases in its list, from their old military figures to their DXs (it did not include HT's unlicensed releases when they were still a start-up company though).

I remember that HT saved MMS 200 for Superman almost 2 years ago :)
