Straight molded from the unchanged proto it looks like, which apparently in the collecting world is enough to go from loving it to disappointment.

This figure is pure awesome and needs to be on my shelf.

That sharpened photoshop image makes it look a bit better. But the sculpt still looks off to me, not like the prototype where it's undoubtedly John Matrix and unmistakably Arnie. But I'm probably moaning about nothing.

ummm... photoshop?

HT tends to over sharpen every single promotional photo to the max.

Definitely photoshop involved though naturally the prototype is going to have sharper features and nicer paint than the mass produced piece. But this is about as close as you can get to the prototype with mass production. Hardly any loss at all. This quality does not come easy, look what Sideshow's factories do to their figures.

The photography is pretty nice too, no harsh lighting or anything. Looks great.

Some good shots of the body:

Great photography by plastic enemies.

Looks awesome . These collectibles are the reason I'm in this hobby . I would have liked a little more of a determined head sculpt but unfortunately this seems to be the norm . All and all , I'm happy with what I see . He's gonna fill in nice with my Predator collection .

I'd be interested in that body for a T2 arrival scene. Hope they consider releasing it separately but they probably won't.

I think I'll pass on this one. It would be a casual purchase and these things just cost too much now to do that.

im not one that tinkers with my figures, when i get them ill pick a pose and very rarely do i change them up, probably never display him without all the gear on, ill more then likely pose him just like this and never move him

Your passing on this buddy? This thing looks sick, but it's not a Terminator, so I understand. I'm a huge Arnie fan and this is a must for me :yess:

Great pose, but I wouldn't leave the rubber arm in that position for too long. The stress on the joint will wreck it :lecture

Yea i didn't know that about the rubber, i have had dutch with his rifle pointed up and the cigar close to his mouth , and then i read on here that its bad for the rubber , i unbent it and it did leave a noticeable crease being like that for over a year noting anyone but me will notice , im not even sure if its a crease from the bend but something is there , not both arms are down, i dont resell my stuff and dont ever plan too, but i think your maybe right about being cautious with it, maybe ill pose him for a day like that , then permanently set him up like this after

Go to page 66 on this thread, there's old pics taken at secret base. It just cant be the same figure! Arnold looks bang on in those pictures! I would like THAT figure. I'm not normally one to get in a sulk with these things, but I dunno, this has really disappointed me. I cant help but laugh at myself, getting upset about an Arnold figure.

I think the thing looks pretty great. Is it the hs that is throwing it off for you, or the whole thing? There are a lot of shadows in those pics.
