1/6 Hot Toys - MMS278D09 - Avengers: AoU - Iron Man Mark 43 Collectible Figure

I planned on skipping the 43 and getting the 45 instead ... then I planned on the opposite. Now I've settled on the fact that I'm getting both. Got 43 flexed so I won't receive it late July but I think I just might have it come sooner because of all these great pics.

According to the reviews I've seen, this has better articulation than the XLII.

The MK 45 & 46 are looking too organic for my liking; I want to see the technology vice seeing it smoothed over.

I personally prefer the MK 43 and don't expect to get the 45. I've come to the realization I can't have them all due to space (and money) so I have to pick and choose; I think the MK 43 is a good transition armor between the earlier MKs and the MK 45.

Agreed.. I also have the 3 on pre-order because I couldn't resist it, but if I pre-order the 45 I'll fall into the trap of wanting to buy every new IM, because they all look nice... I think to keep my collection small I need to be picky when it comes to purchases, although all the MCU is looking good..

My 66 year old mother (who is quite ill) gave me a couple of hundy recently for my birthday, and she is that impressed with my two latest (entering mid-life crisis? lol) hobbies of collecting Hot Toy figures and building UCS Star Wars lego displays, that she wants me to buy a HT on the condition she gets to see it..

I'm debating whether to get one of the two Black Widows (can still get TWS from popcultcha) or Scarlet Witch.... all three look good to me... at least from the prototype shots we've had, and my MCU figures could use some estrogen in there somewhere...

The neck has better articulation. And the rear button to drop the legs is a hard plastic button rather than a piece of soft plastic.

This IS a very nice piece, but it's not the 45.

It's just a simply case of do you want the Armour now or can you wait?


I prefer the 42 over this, so my initial choice was going to be the 45 until I saw the concept art for the 46.
- Both, especially the latter are a long long way off yes, but I don't need the 43 to fill the gap, better articulation and a cool prop to one side it didn't and still doesn't want to make me want to ditch my 42.

My way to scratch that itch was to get the damaged Ultron on eBay. Should go nicely with AoU Cap
