Quick questions for those of you that have the 43. Is a dynamic stand a viable option for posing this guy(air poses), or would he be too heavy? If viable, is ebay the best spot to pick one of these stands up? Thanks for any help in advance!!!

I personally think it would be a bit too heavy. I think it'd be fine for dynamic poses for pictures, but it's not a position I would permanently display him in and leave him in.

Plus, I think the stock diorama base/stand that he comes with, with the rock pile and the destroyed Ultron Mk I, is too cool looking to not use. :)

Yep, agree with Silver. I wouldn't risk it with the 43 being much heavier. But that's just me :lol

Silver, you're all over the place! Thanks again! Thanks for the confirmation Sikatar! I'm stoked for this base, as well as figure. I'll hold off on the stand then, until I get another figure, or I'm feeling a bit froggy.

I'll post this again. Just for confirmation. My 43 has been in this pose for around a month now with no problem. Obviously, to each his own on how you want to pose him, however to answer the question, if you offset the weight, then you will have no issues.

Yeah the weight on the stand isn't a problem as long is you don't have it all on the end of the pole and it bent 90degrees. I've had my mk42 in a flight pose (the air brake one) since I opened it(got it day it released). So around a couple years now.

Thanks Chester! I saw this a few pages back, and wasn't sire if it was just posed like this for a pic, or actual set like this. I assume you had the Dynamic stand for another IM? Motuxmen, that's actually that I had in mind when asking about the dynamic stand. Do you have any pics, or can the be found in the 42 thread? I'll ask again hoping someone will have some insight? Is there a place to purchase the dynamic poles, or is my best bet ebay? Thank you both for the replies.

Hey. I don't have any pics posted I don't think. But when I get home I can take some of you like. Won't be great or anything, just use my iPhone. Any thing specific you want to see? I can put the 43 in the same pose.

As for where to get just the pole..eBay probably. But if you check monkey depot and Toy anxiety they have stands that have them in it for around 20. It's going to cost around that for the pole I imagine at most places. I'll get u a link in a sec. MOS stand would be one that has it..

Wow. Awesome info here! Thank you! Had no idea about these sites. In regards to the pics, just wanted to see what your flight pose looked like. I've done the best I can to go through all of the pages to see what poses I like and will use when I get this guy. Just looking for cool poses. No biggie if you are unable to do it, but great if you can. Either way, I appreciate the help!

You are welcome. Those are probably the three best parts stores, at least IMO. And if you check the dealer section on this site toy anxiety posts when they get new part out figures, and restock old stuff.

I'll try and get you some pics tonight.

Hey no problem. It is actually set up like this. The stand is from the Thor Light Asgardian set from TDW. It's a really cool base and is quite a tall stand too. Although, the HPP IM do come with dynamic stands however they're bases are awful clunky things.

I give you big kudos, che5ter. I'd be too afraid to pose it in that kind of stand due to my luck of having it fall out of the clamps, just laying on the floor, all helpless looking :lol

I found this guy on facebook who makes these awesome custom figure stands and asked if he has anything that'll support Mk43 and so far, no dice. But I've already pointed it out to him and hopefully he'll have something developed for diecast figures. Great customer service from this guy too. Responds like right away. He went out of his way to test his figure stands with his diecast mk3. Look em up. It's Stoney's Stands.

He just made all of mine. His rods can fit the black clamp if you request it. Awesome guy.

The Mark 3 stand he made for me is insane.
