1/6 Hot Toys - MMS278D09 - Avengers: AoU - Iron Man Mark 43 Collectible Figure

It's a custom sculpt that's being offered for PO. Here's another pic and the link. It's only $30 shipped to the US and comes with neck armor, doesn't seem like a bad risk to take but wanted to hear other people's experiences with KG's customs.

I guess it's OK for $30. But the HT head is going for $80 and the difference may not be worth it.

But there isn't a HT AoU unhelmeted Stark sculpt available in 1/6 scale. Would be fantastic if they released the 1/4 HS in 1/6 but we may not see one in a while. The 1/4 one is spot-on RDJ, I'm sure it'll get released in 1/6 eventually but the KG custom looks like a good alternative in the meantime.

The Tony headsculpt with the Arc Reactor creation set is as close to AoU Tony as you are probably going to get. It is pretty much spot-on.

Well I pulled the trigger on that custom HS, I'll post pics when I get it. Not expecting it to be the definitive Stark HS but I'm at least hoping it'll look better than the MMS191 HS.

I have a hunch that the CW IM will include an unhelmeted Stark sculpt, and that it will be pretty good.

I agree. Based on those leaked trailer images from a few weeks ago, Tony looks like he'll be without his helmet for at least one fight. I'd be surprised if the Mark 46 figure didn't include an unhelmeted head sculpt. I'm sure it would be an improved sculpt over previous sculpts too.

And then watch HT release that improved HS with a black eye and some scratches Who knows, maybe HT will surprise us and pull a AoU Cap with the Mk46 and give us a proper unmasked HS. Any CW figure is probably at least a year out from release anyway, plenty of time to trade up.

Thanks YFP . I gotta admit. This and the 42 are really becoming my favorite armors. For me, they just look so good in almost every angle/pose.
