the arc reactors havent been accurate on any of the IM pieces except the 43, we arent supposed to see the chest RT while the suit is on

the mk 43 seems to have its RT glazed over so we cant see it but the part is likely there as its a re run of the 42

The Marks, with Chest RT instead of ArcReactors:
1. Silver Centurion
2. Starboost
3. Igor
4. Red Snapper
5. Peace Maker
6. Bones
7. Hot Rod
8. Thumper/Striker

possibly:
9. Blue Steel.

the thing tony fires repulsor blasts from

Actually checking back all older releases most have ChestRT... except:

Mark I
Mark II AU
Mark VI

and the only one inaccurate was Mk. VI... so hot toys was pretty spot-on in regards to Chest RT...

no they are wrong. theres two chest components. Arc reactor is the piece that tony wears in his chest - this one has the design the HT's shows on all the figures

we should not see the arc reactor design at all. watch this video at approx 00:50 sec to see the actual 'RT' clamp over the arc reactor. this is what generates the blasts from tonys chest (as the ones in his hands and feet do)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urXrQSSF7ac

also note in the mk 5 sequence directly after mk 3 tony's chest arc reactor is hidden under his racing suit, yet the brief case suit still has a visible chest 'RT', this better explains my point

edit: actually all the sequences show this if you pay attention

Well I didnt mean to refer to the Chest RT, I was saying that the design on the chest part of the armor is wrong, the Ring around the arc reactor is much flatter on the 43

I was watching IM2 just now, it seems that the MkII had the Arc reactor visible on the chest plate when Rhodey was disassembling it. If I remember right, the MkI also had it visible (Stane was shown installing it). Marks III-VII seemed to have an RT go over the arc reactor on suit-up. They all had a clear window into the RT. The physical props (on the hall of armor) as seen in IM3 all have that white glazed plate where the RT/Reactor should be. The MkXLII also had a white-glazed chest RT.

Rhodey pulls the whole of Tony's chest AR prop out of the MKII. It's artistic license... doesn't make actual sense given the design of the chest armour with it's own RT device.

Stane plugging Tony's stolen chest AR into Monger makes more sense. Instead of a chest RT it has a power source 'supplied by other'.
